Considerations:

- $150 per van includes dinner on Friday and Saturday
- Spread the love: Please reward our generous sponsors and winery hosts by purchasing their products and tagging them on social media posts
- Tasting fees at each winery may apply for each participant
- No amenities available
- 4×4 is recommended for the Benton City camp site, which requires a short, steep climb up rocky terrain. That said, we had a Dodge Promaster do just fine every year. Batten down the hatches. 🙂
- Dogs are welcome, but subject to individual winery restrictions. Please note a friendly rattlesnake slept under one of our vans at the 2023 event.
- By attending, you acknowledge and consent that your photos may be posted on social media or other platforms by any attendee or the V2 organizers.
BENTON CITY, WASHINGTON
THURSDAY – May 23 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Arrive Benton City, WA late afternoon, setup camp on the top of Horse Heaven Hills (this is where we will camp, and is designated Bureau of Land Management (BLM) dispersed camping). Prepare yourself for 360 degree panoramic views… you’ve never camped in a spot like this before (see photos from previous events).

No Host Arrival Dinner: We typically have an early dinner at the Hacienda Del Sol II restaurant, which has surprisingly good margaritas, food and a remarkable ambience. 🙂 Let us know if you’d like to meet up for dinner and we will add you to the text thread. We typically arrive between 4 and 5 pm.

10:00 am to 6 pm – wine tastings

11:00 am – Wit Cellars Private Tasting
12:30 pm: Special Private Wine Tasting + no host picnic lunch onsite at Desert Wind
Lunch is available for purchase, or you may bring your own. Lunch pre-orders are requested by the winery, check with the V2 crew to make arrangements.
2:30 pm: Private Wine Tasting & Tour at Mercer Estates Winery
4:30 pm: Special Private Wine Tasting + Wood Fired Pizza Dinner + Sunset at Anelare Winery sponsored by RB Components

SATURDAY – MAY 25 Depart Benton City 8:30 am sharp to caraVAN 68 miles to Walla Walla, WA
WALLA WALLA, WASHINGTON10:00 am: Private Library Tasting & Wine Education Tour at Woodward Canyon Winery, one of Walla Walla’s preeminate wineries known for premium, age-worthy cabernet sauvignons, Bordeaux-style blends and merlots as well as chardonnays.
Acclaim: Top 100 List- Seattle Met, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirits Magazine.
11:30 am: Free time to explore downtown Walla Walla.
Free time to connect, and explore historic downtown Walla Walla restaurants, tasting rooms, and shops.
2:00 pm: Special Private Tasting, Barrel Room Tour and Wine Education – Pepper Bridge Winery
$25 tasting fee per person as we will be doing Magnum Service.

4:30 pm: Special After Hours Private Tasting at Sleight of Hand Cellars

Free day, depart for Sunday night campsite or individual plans.
Note: exit overnight winery parking from Sleight of Hand Cellars no later than 10:00 am (so they can use their parking lot)
HOOD RIVER, OREGON
SUNDAY NIGHT MAY 26 Stealth camping or dispersed camping in beautiful Hood River, Oregon. All are welcome.
There is lots to do in Hood River, the agenda will be fluid however.
MONDAY MAY 27 (MEMORIAL DAY) Depart for home/Optional Hood River Tour
Hood River is 3:40 from Seattle and 3:00 from Bend, Oregon with a short, stunning drive along the Columbia River Gorge.
You may wish to have brunch and window shop and sightsee in Hood River, one of the coolest and best towns in the entire Pacific Northwest, as well as being the kite boarding and wind surfing capitol of the world. Brunch at Kickstand Cafe is an option, as well as lunch and craft brews at Pfriem Brewing which is right on the Columbia River and has one of the best burgers you’ll find anywhere.
